One good way of generating free relevant traffic to your site is by joining traffic exchanges. On a traffic exchange, you visit
other sites to accrue "credits". These credits are then spent to earn your site relevant hits. There are two types of exchanges: manual and auto.
Manual, you must be at your computer to surf while auto you don't. This means auto exchanges are worth less since the person may not even view your site. I have
compiled a brief list of some traffic exchanges that I have personally seen work very well for sites.
Manual Exchanges

Unlike other traffic exchanges, you don't need to spend credits here. Instead, it's sort of like a big directory
where you surf other sites to get listed higher in the directory. This is probably one of the best exchanges I have used.
HitsBoosterPro
This is also one of the best traffic exchanges out there. The timer is quick and they offer a lot of bonuses throughout the week. You even have a chance to earn cash some weeks. This would definitely
be the #2 choice behind link referral to get free traffic to your site.
Auto Exchanges
Autohits
As I explained above, auto exchanges are not even close to as useful as manual ones. But sometimes you don't have
a lot of time to surf a bunch of sites so in this case an auto exchange might still be able to help you. This is one of the only auto exchanges I have found useful.
